NSDA Honor Society

Qualifying for Membership: 

Any member of the LCHS or DRMS S&D team who earns 25 NSDA points, is a member in good standing, and pledges to follow the NSDA Honor Code will be inducted into the National Speech & Debate Honor Society at that year's banquet. 

Degrees: 

Merit: 25 points

Honor: 75 points

Excellence: 150 points

Distinction: 250 points

Special Distinction: 500 points

Superior Distinction: 750 points

Outstanding Distinction: 1,000 points

Premier Distinction: 1,500 points

Earning Points: 

While the majority of NSDA points are earned by participating in tournaments, points can also be earned by doing service activities.
